The beauty and the advantage of a floating lodge is that it can move you to close proximity of the fishing grounds making for shorter runs and longer fishing days on a daily basis. The lodge is based out of the Pedregal Marina on the Pacific near the city of David, Panama which is near the Costa Rica border and an hour flight from Panama City. Their fleet consists of 27' Ocean Master center console boats powered by twin 140hp four stroke Suzuki outboards that cruise at 30mph, live bait tank, outriggers and are a great fishing platform. The tackle on board consists of Shimano, Accurate and Avet conventional and spinning reels matched with All Star and Shimano rods along with a variety of quality terminal tackle. So there's no need to bring anything with you if you wish. Those of you that like to fish from kayaks the lodge has them on board for you to use at no charge. The price tag of the trip is $3495.00 per person and is based on three anglers per boat, included in the price are first and last night in Panama City in a 5 star hotel, all ground transfers, 5 nights at the lodge, 6 days fishing, all meals, soft drinks, water and beer and fishing tackle. Not included is airfare to Panama, in country airfare and tips for guides and staff. A $1000.00 deposit will guarantee your spot as we limited this trip to 15 persons. On arrival at the Liberia International Airport you will be greeted by our ground transfer company and transferred to the beautiful Ocotal Beach Resort where on arrival you will enjoy a welcome cocktail, spend five nights in spacious rooms including 16.40% tax, daily breakfast and fish for four days on 31' sportfishers. Packages are based on 2, 3 or 4 persons per room and boat and will include fishing tackle, lunch, soda, beer, water and fresh fruit. The nonfishermen can enjoy the beautiful beachs, sight seeing, shopping, or enjoy one of the many tours that are available in the area.
