| Sportfishing Options in La Paz |  |
| There are two ways to fish the La Paz area. The first way is to leave out of the bay and fish off the entrance of the bay or the islands north of the bay. The second way is to be transported by van to the beach of Las Arenas and fish Muertos Bay or Cerralvo Island which sits a few minutes away. Giant pargo, yellowtail and big corbel are best February through April. "Big Bull" dorado are best April through July and the smaller dorado are best from August through October. Stripe marlin is best May through June with the blue marlin best July through September. Big tuna (100 pounds or more) can be located at the 88 fathom spot off Cerralvo Island or Embudo Bank off Espiritu Santo Island north of the bay. Roosterfish are best May through July.
